Your speech did what I thought was impossible. Your six “take home messages” inspired me and I now have the focus that is required to hopefully achieve my goals.

As someone who has never seriously considered the possibility of a career in any science, your enthusiasm and passion in your field definitely makes me consider a newer, wider range of possibilities.
